Founder, guide, Tyler Vanosdell

Tyler has been fly fishing for more than 25 years. He has fly fished everything from Trout water in the U.S. to trophy Tarpon water in Costa Rica. In 2016 he graduated from the Sweetwater Travel Fly Fishing Guide School and in 2021 graduated from Sandy Moret’s Florida Keys Fly Fishing School to advance his fly fishing knowledge. San Diego has been his home for more than 18 years. With local knowledge of the waters and the love for the San Diego lifestyle, Tyler will get you where you need to be for your San Diego fly fishing experience.

Mark’s been fishing the Southern California coast for over 20 years and has been guiding fly fishing for the past 10. He’s guided everything from the coast to the mountains, and a few spots in between. Mark has been with Mission Bay Fly Fishing Co. since it started and has sharpened his guiding skills working alongside Tyler Vanosdale. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced angler, Mark’s got the knowledge and experience to make your trip unforgettable.
